Mr. Rehman Malik on the other side

I won’t claim myself as person who always see the positive side of any aspect or the person who find the glass always half full. In fact I am one of those who believe in digging things down, understandings the inner cause or exploring out the different thing.


Yesterday and today early morning, when my Facebook wall was full of Uncle Banana’s and Mr. Red & Yellow Tie’s joke (and trust me I literally burst out laughing on few of those) I came across a very different picture of Mr. Malik. Out of curiosity I clicked on the picture to find the real news.

The news was posted by Business Recorder in Today’s paper showing Rehman Malik holding the coffin to offer funeral of martyred ASI. Yesterday in an encounter with car-lifters in G-9 Islamabad, he lost his life making the lifting attempt a failure.

Continue reading the same story, came to know that Minister Rehman Malik announced “Sitara-e-Shujaat” for the martyred ASI Muhammad Riaz. A cash reward of 3,000,000 Rs, a residential plot for the family and permanent job with rank equivalent to ASI in Islamabad Police for son and nephew of the Martyred ASI.

We rarely see such pictures online, such news in our daily Editions. May be because there are very few incidents where Government of Pakistan considering showing its generosity to the people of Pakistan.

I don’t how many of you will find the positivity in this news or picture; I am not pro Uncle Banana. But I believe hope still exists. There are people who are willing to sacrifice their lives for the betterment of this country and then there are people who recognize, value and salute their efforts.

May Allah rest the martyred soul in Peace.
