Isn't is sad ? We were expecting T20 champs in IPL 2009 this time :(. Lalit Modi, Chairman of Indian premier League told to a news channel that Pakistan players wont be a part of IPL 2010. Not too strange but offcourse sad to know.
A few days ago PCB said that their players can now take part in season 3 of the tournament as they have got clearance from internal and foreign ministry of Pakistan. But, PCB were not able to get the visas for their players.
Lalit Modi, told the news channel that the exchange window for IPL 2010 is just 2 days away so they can not extend the deadline for Pakistan players. He said, they are informing the IPL Franchises that they can now go for the replacement for Pakistan players.
Any how seems like once again only the opening and closing ceremony would be fascinating :P Lets wait and watch :)
Indeed....... we too wud miss the Pakistani Cricketers..... But the fact is that this is all cause of PCB's ridiculous egos.... Last year the PCB denied their players permission citing the security concern in India!!! :p .... well the Indian authorities are jus baying back the favour..... Thats wat Politics does to the sport..... Nothin new
