8 Digit Telephone Numbers from Now Onwards - Lahore and Karachi


PTCL announced in all local papers today that all Telephone numbers for Lahore and Karachi will comprise of 8 digits instead of 7 digits. In order to make it 8 digital 3 digit will be added in front of all numbers. Rest of the number will remain the same. For example 5259000 will be converted to 3-5259000. There is no change in the country code though. Here is the enclosed advertisement from PTCL. Call Helpline for further details or visit website.

    this PTCL support is one of the pathetic support i've ever seen. i applied for DSL connection and its been 2 months now, still no response ... i don't know what the hell they are doing. her koi chooor he sala ...
